Cecilia Buck-Taylor, JD has been practicing law for over 20 years and received her JD from Fordham University where she graduated in 1991. Attorney Buck-Taylor also has dual majors in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the State University of New York from which she graduated with honors.

At The Law Offices of Cecilia Buck-Taylor, P.C., Attorney Buck-Taylor and her experienced associates have been representing clients successfully in all of the areas in which the law firm provides services. Attorney Buck-Taylor’s extensive experience and attention to the specific needs of her clients have been the cornerstone of her practice. This attention to detail allows The Law Offices of Cecilia Buck-Taylor, P.C. to provide each and every one of its clients with the personalized professionalism that is often hard to find at other law firms.

Attorney Buck-Taylor is also actively involved in her community and is an elected member of the New Milford Town Council, presently serving as Vice-Chair.  She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Counsel for Children, the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Professional Society on the Abuse of Children, the New Milford Bar Association, the Litchfield County Bar Association, the Danbury Bar Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association.

Paul Vincent Whitty, JD earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Providence College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law.  While at law school, Attorney Whitty received the prestigious CALI Award for Trust & Estates, volunteered with the Law Tax Clinic and worked as an intern at the Rhode Island Office of the Attorney General.

Attorney Whitty is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.  He is the Deputy Treasurer for Attorney Cecilia Buck-Taylor’s 2012 campaign for State Representative of the 67th District in Connecticut.  Attorney Whitty is also a member of the Board of Directors for The Merryall Center for the Performing Arts in New Milford, CT.

Prior to attending law school, Attorney Whitty was employed for several years as a Financial Analyst for United Healthcare.  Before joining the Law Offices of Cecilia Buck-Taylor, P.C., Attorney Whitty worked as a Temporary Assistant Clerk at the Danbury Superior Court and assisted the court with civil jury trials, courtside trials and administrative appeals.

Attorney Whitty is a welcome addition to the Law Offices of Cecilia Buck-Taylor, P.C.  He is looking forward to continuing the Firm’s tradition of providing quality services to all of its clients.
